''Hawks'' is the soundtrack album for the film ''Hawks''. All of the songs were performed by Barry Gibb (except the song "Chain Reaction", which was performed by Diana Ross). Release All of the songs were written and recorded in 1986 by Barry for the unreleased ''Moonlight Madness'' album with the exception of "Childhood Days" and the instrumental "Celebration de la Vie". The songs "Where Tomorrow Is", " Not in Love at All" and "Letting Go" were not in the film and were noted on the CD as ''bonus track not featured in the film'', Additionally these recordings of "Moonlight Madness", "Cover You" and "Celebration de la Vie" are not in the film either, but appear instead as instrumental versions. Robin Gibb
Robin Hugh Gibb (22 December 1949 – 20 May 2012) was a British singer and songwriter. He gained worldwide fame as a member of the Bee Gees pop group with elder brother Barry and fraternal twin brother Maurice. Robin Gibb also had his own successful solo career. Their youngest brother Andy was also a singer. Gibb was born in Douglas on the Isle of Man to English parents, Hugh and Barbara Gibb; the family later moved to Manchester for three years (where Andy was born) before settling in Redcliffe, just north of Brisbane, Australia. The Bee Gees were a musical group formed in 1958 by brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. Alan Kendall (born 9 September 1944) is an English musician and was the lead guitarist for the Bee Gees, in an unofficial capacity from 1971 until 1980, and again from 1987 until 2001. Career His first recording was "Don't Play That Song (You Lied)", a single with a Lancashire band called Kris Ryan and the Questions, Kendall on lead guitar. His next known appearances were with Glass Menagerie. In 1970, he joined the bluesy progressive rock band Toe Fat who had released one album called ''Toe Fat''. "Chain Reaction" is a song by American singer Diana Ross, released on November 12, 1985, as the second single from her sixteenth studio album, ''Eaten Alive'' (1985). The song was written by the Bee Gees and contains additional vocals from Barry Gibb. Sonically, "Chain Reaction" is an R&B and dance-pop song. According to the Gibbs' biography, the brothers had initial reservations about offering the song to Ross in case it was too Motown-like for her. The single became Ross's second No. 1 hit in the UK Singles Chart. It also hit No. 1 in Australia, where it became the best selling single of 1986, Ireland, and Zimbabwe. ''Hawks'' is a 1988 British comedy film about two terminally ill patients, an English lawyer named Bancroft (Timothy Dalton) and a young Gridiron football player ( Anthony Edwards), who decide to sneak out of their hospital rooms and live life to its fullest for whatever time they have left. Their goal is to reach a famous brothel in Amsterdam. Along the way, they encounter various characters including a pair of misfit British women played by Camille Coduri and Janet McTeer. It was filmed on location in London's Charing Cross Hospital and in the Netherlands.
