He appeared on ITV from 1981 to 1985 in the series ''Get Up and Go!'' and the follow-up ''Mooncat and Co'' produced by Yorkshire Television. Pat Coombs
Patricia Doreen Coombs (27 August 1926 – 25 May 2002) was an English actress. She specialised in the portrayal of the eternal downtrodden female, comically under the thumb of stronger personalities. Roland Rat
Roland Rat is a British television puppet character. He was created, operated and voiced by David Claridge, who had previously designed and operated Mooncat, a puppet in the Children's ITV television programme '' Get Up and Go!'' Claridge worked for Jim Henson, then the second series of ''The Young Ones''. Claridge would later operate and voice Brian the Dinosaur for BBC's ''Parallel 9''; create and direct ''Happy Monsters'', a preschool series for Channel 5; and shoot a CGI series, ''Mozart's Dog'', for Paramount Comedy. Stephen Boxer (born 19 May 1950) is an English actor who has appeared in films, on television and on stage. He is known for his role as Joe Fenton on the BBC soap opera ''Doctors''. Career Stephen Boxer was educated at New College School in Oxford, where he was a chorister, and Magdalen College School, Oxford. He is perhaps best known for appearing as Joe Fenton in the BBC One daytime soap opera ''Doctors''. Puddle Lane
''Puddle Lane'' (or ''Tales from Puddle Lane'') is a 1980s English pre-school children's television programme written by Rick Vanes with animated stories written by Sheila K. McCullagh, author of '' Tim and the Hidden People''. A long series of early readers based on the stories was produced by Ladybird Books, also under the title Puddle Lane. TV programme The programme was made by Yorkshire Television in Leeds for ITV and ran on from 1985 (as a replacement for the then-recently discontinued series '' Mooncat & Co.'') until 1989. Wilfred Makepeace Lunn (born 1942 in Rastrick, West Yorkshire, England) is an English inventor, prop maker and TV presenter. He is best known for his regular appearances on the 1960s and 1970s UK children's television show ''Vision On''. Early life and career Lunn was born in Rastrick, West Yorkshire, England to deaf parents. His upbringing was to later allow him to teach lip-reading as well as religious education at Odsal House School for the Deaf in Bradford. In the first part of this self-made interview video series "My Best Cellar", available through his website, Lunn claims he was "brought up in a cellar by deaf mutes". Kenneth Lynch, OBE (18 March 1938 – 18 December 2019) was an English singer, songwriter, entertainer, and actor. He appeared in many variety shows in the 1960s. At the time, he was among the few black singers in British pop music. He was appointed an OBE in the 1970 New Year Honours list. ''Opportunity Knocks'' is a British television and radio talent show originally hosted by Hughie Green, with a late-1980s revival hosted by Bob Monkhouse, and later by previous winner Les Dawson. From its origin on BBC Radio in 1949 the show provided a platform to fame for acts such as Spike Milligan and Frankie Vaughan. One of the most popular shows on British television, in the 1960s and 1970s it had a weekly audience of 20 million viewers. The original radio version started on the BBC Light Programme, where it ran from 18 February to 29 September 1949, but moved to Radio Luxembourg in the 1950s.
