It was his first album following the breakup of the Charles Lloyd Quartet and his move from Atlantic Records. It is artistically significant in his career, since after tremendous personal changes his music developed in new directions after this record. They gained success by critics and listeners alike, toured internationally and released eight records (seven of them are live recordings). Their reputation was aided by the 1967 record ''Forest Flower'', which sold over one million units, and made them not only the first jazz ensemble to play at The Fillmore but also the first to play in the Soviet Union. Moon Man (character)
The Moon Man is a fictional pulp magazine character who appeared in ''Ten Detective Aces'' magazine, published by A.A. Wyn's Ace Magazines. He was a pulp hero in the Robin Hood mold. Frederick C. Davis (1902–1977) created the character and wrote all the original stories under his own name. Davis, who after his time as a pulp writer had a long career as a mystery novelist, generally wrote under various pen names. Character The Moon Man was so named because he concealed his identity with a spherical helmet of Argus (one-way mirror) glass, which gave a mirrored appearance. The one-of-a-kind helmet was hinged to allow him to don it, and it had a built-in disperser so his breath did not fog up the inside of it. He also wore a black robe with black gloves. Though the Moon Man robbed mainly villains, he was viewed by the police as a criminal and was wanted for numerous burglaries, two kidnappings and a murder. All the loot he took was distributed secretly to the poor of Great City (i ...

Ken Ring (writer)
Ken Ring is a writer from Auckland, New Zealand, who asserts that he can use lunar cycles to predict weather and earthquakes. He terms his predictions "alternative weather" and has authored books about the weather and climate. Ring publishes almanacs each year for New Zealand, Australia and Ireland in which he provides weather predictions for the entire year. His New Zealand almanac covers 64 towns. Ring's methods have been shown to be unscientific and have been widely confirmed as fake and pseudoscience by many real scientists in the fields of meteorology and geology. Ring says he predicted the 4 September 2010 Christchurch earthquake and the deadly 22 February 2011 Christchurch earthquake. He also said there would probably be an earthquake in Marlborough or north Canterbury "just before noon" on 20 March 2011. This caused some residents to leave Christchurch and led to criticism from scientists and sceptics. Further research into his predictions showed that his forecasting reco ...
