Shankar Nag
Shankar Nagarakatte (9 November 1954 – 30 September 1990) was an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, and producer known for his work in Kannada-language films and television. A popular cultural icon of Karnataka, Nag is often referred to as ''Karate King.'' He directed and acted in the teleserial, '' Malgudi Days'', based on novelist R. K. Narayan's short stories. Manjula (Kannada Actress)
Manjula (8 November 1954 – 12 September 1986) was an Indian actress who acted in Kannada language films and also few Tamil (credited as ''Kumari Manjula'') and Telugu films. She was one of the most successful and prominent actresses of Kannada films in 1970s and 1980s. She acted in more than 100 films and won several awards for her performances, including a Filmfare Award. Personal life Manjula was born to M. H. Bommasandra Srinivasaiah Suryanarayana Murthy (16 March 1933 – 26 December 1985), known by his screen name Udaykumar, was an Indian actor and producer in Kannada cinema. He, along with Kalyan Kumar and Rajkumar, were called the ''Kumarathrayaru'' (meaning the three Kumars) of Kannada cinema He has authored many dramas and books.
