Moog Opus 3
The Opus 3 is an analog 49 key synthesizer, and designed by Herbert A. Deutsch from Hofstra University. He also wrote the manual for the synthesizer. It was released in 1980 by Moog. The sounds are in three categories, strings, brass and organ sounds, all having their own filter apart from the organ section. Outputs The Opus 3 features stereo outputs and can be programmed to use the panning effect. Analog Device
Analog devices are a combination of both analog machine and analog media that can together measure, record, reproduce, receive or broadcast continuous information, for example, the almost infinite number of grades of transparency, voltage, resistance, rotation, or pressure. The Rentals
The Rentals are an American rock band fronted by vocalist Matt Sharp. Sharp has been the only consistent member since the group's inception. The band's best selling single is "Friends of P" (1995). The Rentals released two albums, ''Return of the Rentals'' (1995) and '' Seven More Minutes'' (1999) on Maverick Records before quietly splitting in 1999 following a world tour. The group reformed in 2005 and have since released several EPs and two more full-length albums, ''Lost in Alphaville'' and ''Q36''. The Moog synthesizer is a modular synthesizer developed by the American engineer Robert Moog. Moog debuted it in 1964, and Moog's company R. A. Moog Co. (later known as Moog Music) produced numerous models from 1965 to 1981, and again from 2014. Robert Arthur Moog ( ; May 23, 1934 – August 21, 2005) was an American engineer and electronic music pioneer. He was the founder of the synthesizer manufacturer Moog Music and the inventor of the first commercial synthesizer, the Moog synthesizer, which debuted in 1964. In 1970, Moog released a more portable model, the Minimoog, described as the most famous and influential synthesizer in history. Among Moog's honors are a Technical Grammy Award, received in 2002, and an induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Peperina (album)
''Peperina'' is the fourth studio album released by the Argentinian rock group Serú Girán, released in 1981. It was Serú Girán's last album until the 1992 reunion. The group released four successful singles from the album: "Peperina", "Cinema Verité", "Esperando nacer" and "Salir de la melancolía". Overview ''Peperina'' was recorded in early 1981, mainly at the ION Studios and then, some tracks at Wacameca Studios. The title-song is about a journalist writing from ''Expreso Imaginario'' magazine, called Patricia Perea, who rated the Serú Girán shows in Cordoba, as "boring". Charly García wrote the song as a response to her attack on the band. The record has featured in numerous publications' lists of the best albums of the Argentine Rock. ''Bicicleta'' is the third studio album recorded by the Argentinian rock group Serú Girán, released in 1980. The album is widely considered by fans and critics alike to be one of the group's finest, and subsequently went on to be ranked by the ''Rolling Stone'' as the 68th best Argentinian album of all time. The album described with delicate and admirable accuracy the Argentine social and political times under the dictatorship. "Canción de Alicia en el país" ("Song of Alice in the Land") and "Encuentro con el diablo" ("Encounter with the Devil") are the songs that best described that social reality according to music historian, Sergio Pujol. Serú Girán was an Argentine rock supergroup. Formed in 1978, the group consisted of Charly García (keyboards, synthesizers and vocals), David Lebón (guitars and vocals), Oscar Moro (drums and percussion) and Pedro Aznar (electric and fretless bass and vocals) the three first being already consecrated musicians through their previous bands. Charly García
Charly García (born Carlos Alberto García, October 23, 1951) is an Argentine singer-songwriter, musician and record producer. He formed and headlined two of the most popular bands in Argentina's rock history: Sui Generis in the 1970s and Serú Girán in the 1980s, plus cult status groups like progressive-rock act La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros and folk rock supergroup PorSuiGieco, both also in the 1970s. 808 State are an English electronic music group formed in 1987 in Manchester, taking their name from the Roland TR-808 drum machine.
