Badalona (, , , ) is a Municipalities of Spain, municipality to the immediate north east of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. It is located on the left bank of the Besòs River and on the Mediterranean Sea, in the Barcelona metropolitan area. Maresme
Maresme () is a ''comarca'' (county) located along the Catalan Mediterranean coast in Spain, between the ''comarques'' of Barcelonès (at the Southwest) and Selva (at the Northeast), and also bordering with Vallès Oriental (at the west). Its capital and largest city is Mataró (pop. 119,035 in 2007). Geography Maresme occupies a long and narrow area between the Mediterranean Sea and the hills of Serralada Litoral (Catalonia's coastal mountains), and specifically Montnegre's and 's hills in the northern half and Sant Mateu's hills in the southern half. C-31 Highway (Spain)
C-31 or Eix Costaner is one of Catalonia's primary highways. It is the result of merging several sections of previously existing roads, '' autopistas'' and ''autovías'' after the 2004's renaming of primary highways managed by the Generalitat de Catalunya. According to this new denomination, the first number (C-31) indicates that is a southwest-northeast highway (parallel to the Mediterranean Sea coastline), while the second number (C-31) indicates that is the closest to the Mediterranean Sea. El Masnou
El Masnou (; ) is a municipality in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between Montgat and Premià de Mar, to the north-east of the city of Barcelona, in the ''comarca'' (county) of el Maresme. The town is both a tourist centre and a dormitory town in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area. Alella
Alella () is a village in the ''comarca'' of Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast on the southwest side of the granite Catalan Coastal Range. The town is known for its wines, cava and perfumes, but is also a commuter town for nearby Barcelona. What used to be the old Roman Road (Via Augusta), uniting Rome and Andalusia, is still today a narrow road running through the village. A ''comarca'' is a group of municipalities, roughly equivalent to a county in the US or a district or council in the UK.
