Monte Bondone
Monte Bondone is a mountain of Trentino, northern Italy, located west of the provincial capital of Trento. It has an elevation of and includes a ski resort on one side. It is the highest mountain of the Garda Prealps and with a prominence of qualifies as an Ultra. It lies between the Etschtal valley in the east and the Sarca The Sarca is a river springing from the Adamello-Presanella mountains in the Italian Alps and flowing into Lake Garda at Torbole. Povo is a suburb of Trento, in Trentino, northern Italy. Geography Povo is about three kilometers away from the city on the east side of the valley at the foot of mountains Marzola and Celva. Ultra Prominent Peak
An ultra-prominent peak, or Ultra for short, is a mountain summit with a topographic prominence of or more; it is also called a P1500. The prominence of a peak is the minimum height of climb to the summit on any route from a higher peak, or from sea level if there is no higher peak. There are approximately 1,524 such peaks on Earth. Some well-known peaks, such as the Matterhorn and Eiger, are not Ultras because they are connected to higher mountains by high cols and therefore do not achieve enough topographic prominence. The Sarca is a river springing from the Adamello-Presanella mountains in the Italian Alps and flowing into Lake Garda at Torbole. A mountain is an elevated portion of the Earth's crust, generally with steep sides that show significant exposed bedrock.
