Montañeses F.C.
Montañeses Fútbol Club is a football club that plays in the Liga Premier de México – Serie A. It is based in Orizaba, Mexico. History On June 26, 2021, Fuertes de Fortín F.C., team from Fortín de las Flores, won promotion from the Liga TDP to the Liga Premier de México after defeating Toluca in the regional final. Following this result, the team secured a place in the Serie A de México. A week later, the club won the national championship in that category. After being promoted, the Fuertes de Fortín board of directors began to receive offers from other cities such as Córdoba, Orizaba, Xalapa and Tuxtepec to relocate the club in those locations, due to the fact that the sports facilities of Fortín de las Flores did not comply with the requirements to participate in the Liga Premier. The Liga TDP is Mexico's fourth tier in the Mexican League System. The Liga TDP is divided into 17 groups. For the 2009/2010 season, the format of the tournament has been reorganized to a home and away format, which all teams will play in their respective group. Club Deportivo Albinegros de Orizaba was a football club of the city of Orizaba, in the state of Veracruz. Founded in 1898 as "Orizaba Athletic Club", it was founded by Scottish migrant Duncan Mac Comish Mac Donald who owned a local steel company. Fortín de las Flores is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Orizaba () is a city and municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz.
