Mont-Saint-Aignan
Mont-Saint-Aignan () is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the region of Normandy, northwestern France. The inhabitants of the town of Mont-Saint-Aignan are called ''Mont-Saint-Aignanais'' in French. Due to the presence of higher education institutions (notably the University of Rouen and the NEOMA Business School) and the city's relatively small population, Mont-Saint-Aignan is considered the French city that has the largest proportion of students relative to its population (students represented in 2014 25,61% of the total population). Geography The town is the fifth-largest suburb of the city of Rouen and lies directly adjacent to the north side of Rouen at the junction of the D121 and D43. In addition to its population of 21,265, there are also around 20,000 students at the University and the various ''Grandes Écoles''. Jackson Mendy (born 25 May 1987) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender. Born in France, he represented the Senegal national team internationally. Club career Mendy was born in Mont-Saint-Aignan, France. Matthieu Louis-Jean (born 22 February 1976 in Mont-Saint-Aignan) is a French former footballer, who is currently head scout for Olympique de Marseille. He finished his career at Norwich in June 2005 after several seasons at Nottingham Forest, who he joined from Le Havre AC in 1999 following a loan spell. An experienced full-back, Louis-Jean made 198 league appearances for Forest. His transfer to Norwich was a player exchange deal that saw Gary Holt move to the City Ground. Jacques Anquetil (; 8 January 1934 – 18 November 1987) was a French road racing cyclist and the first cyclist to win the Tour de France five times, in 1957 and from 1961 to 1964.
