Monster (2014 Film)
''Monster'' () is a 2014 South Korean action thriller film written and directed by Hwang In-ho, starring Lee Min-ki and Kim Go-eun. Plot Independent and aggressive, Bok-soon is known around the neighborhood as a "psycho bitch" because of her weird behavior. She is "slow" and not very smart due to a developmental disability, but is nonetheless a brave young woman with a happy inner world. Bok-soon manages to make a living by running a street stall at the local market with her younger sister Eun-jeong, whom she loves more than life itself. The name-calling doesn't affect her at all, and she only cares about working hard and saving up money for Eun-jeong's education. Their relatively peaceful life is disrupted when Tae-soo, who lives alone in a deserted forest, kills Bok-soon's beloved sister because Eun-jeong may have stumbled upon the truth of his murderous lifestyle. Hwang In-ho
Hwang In-ho is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. He wrote and directed the horror-romantic comedy '' Spellbound'' (2011) and the crime thriller '' Monster'' (2014). Career As screenwriter Hwang In-ho first wrote the screenplay of ''Sisily 2km'' (also known as ''To Catch a Virgin Ghost''), a 2004 film that combined horror and black comedy elements in a story about gangsters (played by Im Chang-jung and Kwon Oh-joong) who steal a diamond and escape to a small town, . Park Chul-min
Park Chul-min (born January 18, 1967) is a South Korean actor. Career Park Chul-min began acting in his high school drama club at Chosun University High School, and though he majored in Business Administration at Chung-Ang University, he spent majority of his college years in theater circles. After graduating in 1988, Park joined the professional theater troupe ''Hyunjang'' (현장), and for 5 to 6 years he appeared in plays on Daehakro such as ''A Story of Old Thieves'' (늘근도둑 이야기) and ''Kim Cheol-sik of the Republic of Korea'' (대한민국 김철식).
