Monreko Crittenden
Monreko Crittenden (March 14, 1980 - June 25, 2015 ) was an American football offensive lineman. He played for the Alabama Vipers of Arena Football League. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Auburn. His untimely death was widely reported amongst Auburn fans late Thursday, June 25 and verified by news outlets the following day. Funeral service was held at St. Jude Church, Montgomery, Al, on July 3, 2015. Crittenden also played for the Montgomery Bears, Columbus Lions and Los Angeles Avengers. College career Crittenden earned All-Southeastern Conference honors as a three-year starter with the Tigers. In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. 2004 NFL Draft
The 2004 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 24–25, 2004 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year. The draft was shown on ESPN both days and eventually moved to ESPN2 both days.
