Maxim "Max" Aleksandrovich Fadeev (russian: link=no, Макси́м Алекса́ндрович Фаде́ев) (born 6 May 1968) is a Russian singer-songwriter, composer and producer. Biography Early life and career Maxim Fadeev was born on 6 May 1968 in Kurgan, Kurgan Oblast, USSR. When he was a child, he attended a musical school in Kurgan, and learned how to play bass guitar. He later attended two universities, both musical, when aged only fifteen. Fadeev started working with professional musicians in 1989, such as Larisa Dolina and Valery Leontyev. Kurgan, Kurgan Oblast
Kurgan ( rus, Курган, p=kʊrˈgan) is the largest city and the administrative center of Kurgan Oblast in the south of the Urals Federal District of Russia. Population: . Until 1782 Kurgan bore the name ''Tsaryovo Gorodishche''. History An urban settlement was established here between 1659 and 1662 as Tsaryovo Gorodishche (, meaning ''Imperial Citadel'') by Timofey Nevezhin, a farmer from Tyumen. In the ensuing years it was developed as a fortress town. It served as a frontier post and its fortified position enabled it to defend other Russian settlements from nomad attacks. Larisa Aleksandrovna Dolina (russian: link=no, Лариса Александровна Долина, , née Kudelman, Кудельман, formerly Mionchinskaya, Миончинская; born 10 September 1955) is an Azerbaijani-born prominent Russian (former Soviet) jazz and pop singer and actress. The Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the 52nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Helsinki, Finland, following the country's victory at the with the song "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by Lordi. Serebro ( rus, Серебро, t=Silver, p=sʲɪrʲɪˈbro, a=ru-серебро.ogg; stylized as SEREBRO) was a Russian girl group formed by their manager and producer Maxim Fadeev. Serebro was formed in 2007, consisting of Marina Lizorkina, Olga Seryabkina, and Elena Temnikova as a submitted proposal for consideration by Channel One Russia for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Serebro was selected to represent Russia at the 2007 Contest with the song titled " Song #1". They subsequently placed third at the contest, scoring a total of 207 points.
