Monmouth University
Monmouth University is a private university in West Long Branch, New Jersey. Founded in 1933 as Monmouth Junior College, it became Monmouth College in 1956 and Monmouth University in 1995 after receiving its charter. Ryan Kinne (born August 31, 1989 in Waterbury, Connecticut, United States) is a former American soccer player. Career College and amateur Kinne played his college career at Monmouth University where he was an NSCAA All-American, Hermann Trophy semi-finalist and Northeast Conference player of the year in both his Junior and Senior seasons. In 77 career games, he scored 35 goals, including 12 as a senior in 2010. He also added 21 assists, including six as a senior. Kinne also played in for Central Jersey Spartans in the USL Premier Development League during their inaugural season. The 2020 Pittsburgh Panthers men's soccer team represents University of Pittsburgh during the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The Panthers are led by head coach Jay Vidovich, in his fifth season. They play home games at Ambrose Urbanic Field. This is the team's 67th season playing organized men's college soccer and their 8th playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Xavier Musketeers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Xavier University. The team is a member of the Big East Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. History Xavier University is a Jesuit university established in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1831. In March 1974, it was announced that a varsity soccer program would be formed at Xavier, and tryouts were held. Coached by Bob McKinney, the team played their first ever regular season match on September 21, 1974 at Corcoran Field, defeating the visiting Thomas More Rebels 3–2. The 2014 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament is the 56th annual edition of the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship tournament. The 2011 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament was a single-elimination tournament involving 48 teams to determine the champion of the 2011 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The 53rd edition of the tournament began on November 17, 2011 and culminated with the North Carolina Tar Heels defeating the Charlotte 49ers, 1–0, in the final on December 13 at Regions Park in Hoover, Alabama. While the tournament resulted in few upsets, most national soccer headlines were made behind Charlotte's run to the final. The 49ers entered the tournament through an at-large bid, and were not seeded. The Harvard Crimson men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Harvard University. The team is a member of the Ivy League of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
