Monica Maimone
Monica Maimone (born 5 December 1945), is an Italian theater director and playwright. She started her career in theater in 1966; in 1968 she created the theatre group called ''Nuova Scena'' together with Dario Fo and Franca Rame, following the model of Erwin Piscator's "Volksbũhne". The most important production of ''Nuova Scena'' was ''Mistero Buffo'' by Dario Fo. She directed and produced theatrical events at Salone Pier Lombardo, Milan (now Teatro Franco Parenti), with Franco Parenti and Andrée Ruth Shammah. In 1977, she became the director of the theater. In 1982, Maimone created Studio Festi with Valerio Festi. Since then, she has been the director and the playwright of all Studio Festi performances. Monica Maimone is President of the Ipazia-Arte Foundation for the environment, which encourages artists to focus on the environment. Varese ( , , or ; lmo, label= Varesino, Varés ; la, Baretium; archaic german: Väris) is a city and ''comune'' in north-western Lombardy, northern Italy, north-west of Milan. Laikipia County is one of the 47 Counties of Kenya, located on the Equator in the former Rift Valley Province of the Country. Laikipia is a cosmopolitan County and is Listed as County number 31. The county has two major urban centres: Nanyuki to the southeast, and Nyahururu to the southwest. Its County government headquarters town is Nanyuki. Hypatia
Hypatia, Koine pronunciation (born 350–370; died 415 AD) was a neoplatonist philosopher, astronomer, and mathematician, who lived in Alexandria, Egypt, then part of the Eastern Roman Empire. She was a prominent thinker in Alexandria where she taught philosophy and astronomy. Although preceded by Pandrosion, another Alexandrine female mathematician, she is the first female mathematician whose life is reasonably well recorded. Hypatia was renowned in her own lifetime as a great teacher and a wise counselor. She wrote a commentary on Diophantus's thirteen-volume '' Arithmetica'', which may survive in part, having been interpolated into Diophantus's original text, and another commentary on Apollonius of Perga's treatise on conic sections, which has not survived. Studio Festi is an Italian artistic project and production centre bringing into being shows and grand installations. Along with Bertolt Brecht, he was the foremost exponent of epic theatre, a form that emphasizes the socio-political content of drama, rather than its emotional manipulation of the audience or the production's formal beauty.
