Money Pit
''Money Pit'' is a British television series first broadcast on Dave in 2015. It is presented by Jason Manford and Dominic Frisby, and allows investors to support crowdfunded projects. Background ''Money Pit'' is broadcast on Dave, presented by comedian Jason Manford and financial pundit Dominic Frisby, and narrated by Elizabeth Carling. The eight-part series explores the idea of crowdfunding, putting prospective investors in contact with those with business ideas. Crow TV was in charge of audio and video post, with production by Liberty Bell Productions, who have previously produced '' Dave Gorman: Modern Life is Goodish'' for Dave. Dave is a British free-to-air television channel owned by UKTV, a subsidiary of BBC Studios. It broadcasts mainly comedy, with some factual programming. The channel took the name Dave on 15 October 2007, but it had been on air under various identities and formats since October 1998. Dominic Frisby (born September 1969) is a British author, comedian and voice actor. He is best known as co-host of television programme '' Money Pit''. Early life Dominic Frisby is the son of the playwright and novelist Terence Frisby, and Christine Doppelt. He was educated at St Paul's School, Manchester University and the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, studying Italian and drama. Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people, typically via the internet. ''Dave Gorman: Modern Life Is Goodish'' is a British comedy television show that ran for five series between 2013 and 2017. It was broadcast on Dave and presented by Dave Gorman. The series mainly consisted of Gorman presenting comedic PowerPoint presentations in which he attempts to argue that modern life is neither bad or good, but "good...ish". The series began on 17 September 2013. A fifth series began airing on 31 October 2017. Gorman announced on 18 December 2017 that the show would conclude after the final episode of series 5 aired the following night. Alexandra Palace
Alexandra Palace is a Grade II listed entertainment and sports venue in London, situated between Wood Green and Muswell Hill in the London Borough of Haringey. It is built on the site of Tottenham Wood and the later Tottenham Wood Farm. Originally built by John Johnson and Alfred Meeson, it opened in 1873 but following a fire two weeks after its opening, was rebuilt by Johnson. The Financial Services Authority (FSA) was a quasi-judicial body accountable for the financial regulation, regulation of the financial services industry in the United Kingdom between 2001 and 2013.
