Mondariz is a town and municipality in the province of Pontevedra, autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It has a population of 4,440 inhabitants. Geography Parishes The municipality of Mondariz is formed by 12 ''parroquias'' (civil parishes). Vilasobroso is a small village in the southwest of Galicia, Spain. It is both an ecclesiastical parish within the municipality of Mondariz, known as San Martiño de Vilasobroso, and an administrative lesser local entity. As an lesser local entity it is only one of nine administrative divisions directly below a municipality in the whole of Galicia. According to the 2008 census the village has a population 367 (173 men and 194 women). The People's Party ( es, Partido Popular ; known mostly by its acronym, PP ) is a conservative and Christian-democratic political party in Spain. Galician Nationalist Bloc
The Galician Nationalist Bloc ( gl, Bloque Nacionalista Galego, BNG ) is a political alliance of left-wing Galician nationalist parties. It is self-defined as a "patriotic front". Formed in 1982, under the guidance of historical leader Xosé Manuel Beiras, the BNG calls for further devolution of powers to the Parliament of Galicia and the official and unambiguous recognition of Galicia as a nation. The BNG also promotes affirmative action for the Galician language. The current leader – president of the National Council and national spokesperson – is Ana Pontón.
