Monas Verden
''Monas verden'' ( eng. ''Mona's World'') is a Danish film from 2001, directed by Jonas Elmer. The actors could work relatively freely of a script by Nikolaj Peyk. The story was first created by Jonas Elmer with Sidse Babett Knudsen, and given to the actors (12-13 pages). A test filming of the improvisation took place, and was then made into the script by Nikolaj Peyk. Jonas Elmer also had the idea of creating a website where everybody could write suggestions for the film, such as the actor's lines, the locations, the poster, taglines, logos, and the plot of the film. Jonas Elmer (director)
Jonas Elmer (born 14 March 1966) is a Danish film director, screenwriter and previously an actor. In 1988 he was a production assistant at the set of ''Family Business'', starring Sean Connery. Elmer graduated in direction at the National Film School of Denmark in 1995. His debut as a director came with the Danish film '' Let's Get Lost'' which won him a Robert and Bodil Award for Best Danish Film. Since then, he has directed the Danish feature films ''Monas verden'' and '' Nynne''. He has also directed 21 episodes of the Danish sit-com '' Langt fra Las Vegas''. He directed his first American feature film in 2008, ''New in Town'', starring Renée Zellweger and Harry Connick, Jr, which was released in January 2009. In 2013 he directed the film ''In Real Life'', a production about human desire to have their unmet needs satisfied, and shows their passions, desperation and delusion. Klaus Bondam
Klaus Bondam (born 19 November 1963, in Aakirkeby) is a Danish actor and politician. Acting career Bondam has been the manager two theatres, (1996–2003) and Folketeatret (2003–2005), and been administrative manager of Mungo Park theatre (1995–1996). Klaus Bondam began acting on stage in 1988. His acting breakthrough came in the movie ''Festen'' in 1998, playing the German toastmaster at the party. He starred in the series '' Langt fra Las Vegas'' (2001–2003) as the sexually driven boss Niels Buckingham. Filmography Film Television Politics Klaus Bondam was in the political party Radikale Venstre and ran for mayor of Copenhagen in November 2005. Bodil Award
The Bodil Awards are the major Danish film awards given by the Danish Film Critics Association. The awards are presented annually at a ceremony in Copenhagen. Established in 1948, it is one of the oldest film awards in Europe. The awards are given without regard to commercial interests or box-office sales, but rather to highlight the films or actors that the critics regard as most worthy. The Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival (german: Internationales Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg), often referred to by the German-language initialism IFFMH, is an annual film festival established in 1952 hosted jointly by the cities of Mannheim and Heidelberg in Baden-Württemberg, the southwest region of Germany. Bjarne Henriksen (born 18 January 1959) is a Danish film and television actor. Biography Henriksen was born in Såderup, Funen in 1959.
