Mumin
''Muʾmin'' or ''mumin'' ( ar, مؤمن, muʾmin; feminine ) is an Arabic and Islamic term, frequently referenced in the Quran, meaning "believer". It denotes a person who has complete submission to the will of God and has faith firmly established in his heart, i.e. a "faithful Muslim". Also, it is used as a name and one of the names of God in Islam. The opposite term of '' īmān'' (faith) is ''kufr'' (unbelief), and the opposite of ''muʾmin'' is '' kāfir'' (unbeliever). Bashir Momin Kavathekar
Bashir Kamruddin Momin (1 March 1947 – 12 November 2021), popularly known by his pen name, Momin Kavathekar, also known as 'Lokshahir B. K. Momin Kavathekar', was a popular Marathi language poet, writer who promoted sanitation, literacy, and social reforms through his literatures. His work involved creating mass awareness against the dowry, female foeticide, alcohol addiction, blind following of superstitions. Many of his devotional songs (bhaktigit / aarati) adore the Hindu God & Goddess. He was closely associated with Maharashtra's traditional form of theatre Tamasha for almost 50 years, supporting the various Tamasha troupes by providing them with folk songs like 'Lavani', 'Gan Gavalan', 'Bhedic' and short plays called 'Vaga-Natya'. Momin Khan Momin
Momin Khan Momin (; 1800–14 May 1852) was a late Mughal era poet known for his Urdu ghazals. A lesser-known contemporary of Ghalib and Zauq, he used "Momin" as his pen name. His grave is located in the Mehdiyan cemetery in Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. Life Momin Khan 'Momin' was born in Delhi into a Muslim family of Kashmiri origin. His father, Ghulam Nabi Khan, was a ''Hakeem'' (physician of traditional/Unani medicine). Momin Khan received training in the family profession from a young age and himself became a ''hakim,'' due to which he is often referred to in contemporary accounts as "Hakeem Khan," ''Hakeem'' being the Urdu word for physician. Abdul Momin (; ; 1788 – 29 May 1885) was the 24th Sultan of Brunei from 1852 until his death in 1885. Early life He was the son of Pengiran Shahbandar Pengiran Anak Abdul Wahab and grandson of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin I. He was also the brother in law of Sultan Hashim Jalilul Alam Aqamaddin. Reign (1852-1885) Abdul Momin succeeded his father-in-law Omar Ali Saifuddin II as sultan upon the latter's death in 1852, having previously served as regent for him during his ill health. Abdul Momin Imambari
Abdul Momin Shaykh-e-Imambari ( bn, আব্দুল মোমিন শায়খে ইমামবাড়ী; 1930 – 8 April 2020) was a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar, teacher and politician. He was a former president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh. Early life and education Abdul Momin was born in 1930, to a Bengali Muslim parents Muhammad Abdus Sattar and Gulbahar Bibi in the village of Purangaon in Nabiganj, Habiganj subdivision (then located under the Sylhet district). He studied at the Jāmiʿah Saʿdiyyah Raidhar and Jāmiʿah Islāmiyyah Imambari madrasas, before setting out to Hindustan where he enrolled at the Darul Uloom Deoband seminary. He studied in Deoband for six years, graduating from the faculty of Hadith studies. Among his teachers there were Hussain Ahmed Madani, Ibrahim Baliyavi, Syed Fakhrul Hasan and Merajul Haq. Numal Momin (born 25 February 1972) is a politician who has been serving as an MLA from 17 no Bokajan legislative assembly constituency in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam. He is currently the Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly.
