Mokobé
Mokobé Traoré (born 24 May 1976 in Vitry-sur-Seine, France), better known by the mononym Mokobé, is a Malian–French rapper and part of the music collective 113 alongside Rim'K and AP and within the greater French musical project and collective Mafia K-1 Fry. He also has his own solo career with two album releases ''Mon Afrique'' in 2007 and ''Africa Forever'' in 2011. Mokobé was born to a Malian–Senegalese father and a Malian–Mauritanian mother. He was a founding member of 113 and his works appeared in the collective albums of the band. He was also actively involved in the artistic aspects of the band and took part in the live shows of the band. He was also responsible for the band's mediatic image (Visuals, music videos, DVDs, interviews, public relations), becoming a de facto manager of the 113 operations. 113 is a French hip hop music, hip hop group, including African and Caribbean roots originating in North and West Africa and the island of Guadeloupe, formed in their most famous song "Tonton du Bled" ("Uncle From The Land"; 'bled' being a term from Maghrebi Arabic). Mafia K-1 Fry
Mafia K-1 Fry sometimes stylized as Mafia K'1 Fry is a French collective of hip hop artists, rappers, beatboxers, DJs, MCs and music producers mostly coming from the Val-de-Marne and the Orly-Choisy-Vitry-Joinville axis (being locations in Orly - Choisy-le-Roi - Vitry-sur-Seine - Joinville-le-Pont), suburbs located south of Paris. It was founded in 1995 with an initiative by Douma le Parrain. The name Mafia K'1 Fry comes from a rap verse during a freestyle improvised in à Orly at the "Demi-Lune": "Tu peux pas test avec la Mafia K'1 Fry," (You can't f*ck with the Mafia K'1 Fry") with "K'1 Fry" being a verlan term for ''africain'', hence, translated into English, African Mafia. Fally Ipupa N'simba (born December 14, 1977), known by his stage name Fally Ipupa, is a Congolese singer-songwriter, dancer, philanthropist, guitarist and producer. From 1999 until 2006, he was a member of Quartier Latin International, the music band formed in 1986 by Koffi Olomidé. His first solo album was ''Droit Chemin'' released in 2006, which went on to sell over 100,000 units, and his second album ''Arsenal de Belles Melodies'' was released in 2009. Matthieu Gore, better known as Matt Houston or Matt, is a French singer and music producer originating from Guadeloupe. He was born in Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe, on 30 September 1977. He has released five albums and a number of singles. Career He started very young in music in Guadeloupe where he won in a singing competition. P-Square is a Nigerian music duo consisting of the twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye. They produced and released their albums through Square Records (now Square Root Entertainment) In December 2011, they signed a record deal with Akon's Konvict Muzik label. Abdelkrim Brahmi a.k.a. Rim'K (born 21 June 1978 in Paris, France) is an Algerian–French rapper. Rim'K was raised in the Parisian suburb of Vitry-sur-Seine. His family is originally from Barbacha in Algeria and is mentioned many times in his lyrics. He is a member of the group 113 alongside Mokobé and AP and the super-group music collective Mafia K-1 Fry. He also has a group called Maghreb United. Having been innovative in many musical aspects, such as the introduction of Maghrebian folk rhythms in rap. Rim'K thus remains one of the major figures of the French-speaking rap scene. Yohann Duport, better known by his stage name AP, based on " Al Pacino" (born in Vitry-sur-Seine, suburbs of Paris, France in 1979), is a French rapper whose parents originated from Guadeloupe in the French Antilles (French West Indies).
