Moïse Katumbi Chapwe (; born 28 December 1964) is a Congolese businessman and politician. He was Governor of Katanga Province, located in the southern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, from 2007 to September 2015. He was a member of the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) until September 2015. Patricia Moise-Sawyer () is a former NASCAR driver. She drove in five Winston Cup races from 1987 to 1989, and 133 Busch Series races from 1986 to 1998. She is the wife of former fellow NASCAR driver Elton Sawyer. Racing career Moise began racing at the age of 16, when she drove road course races in the IMSA series. Moïse Vauquelin or Moses Vanclein ( fl. 1650–1670) was a 17th-century French buccaneer. During his four-year career as a pirate, he served as an officer under l'Ollonais and formed a brief partnership with Pierre Le Picard. He and Philippe Bequel later co-wrote a book detailing their explorations of the Honduran and Yucatán coastline. Biography Vauquelin first arrived in the Caribbean from Normandy, France around 1650. Moïse Kapenda Tshombe (sometimes written Tshombé) (10 November 1919 – 29 June 1969) was a Congolese businessman and politician. Moïse Rahmani (29 August 1944 – 18 September 2016) was a Belgian Sephardic author, editor, and publisher of ''Los Muestros'' ( Ladino-French-English language) magazine.
