Mohsen Forouzan
Mohsen Forouzan ( fa, محسن فروزان; born 3 May 1988) is an Iranian Association football, footballer who currently plays for Gol Gohar Sirjan F.C., Gol Gohar Sirjan, as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He is also capped by the Iran national football team. Club career Forouzan started his senior career in 2004 with local club Pegah Gilan F.C., Pegah Gilan, he moved to rival club Malavan F.C., Malavan in 2007. In 2011 Forouzan signed with Tractor S.C., Tractor and played in the AFC Champions League, Asian Champions League for the first time in his career. After two years at the club Forouzan signed with another Tabrizi team, this time Gostaresh Foolad F.C., Gostaresh Foolad, in his only season with the club he helped the team avoid relegation. In the summer of 2014 Forouzan transferred to Esteghlal F.C., Esteghlal. Rasht ( fa, رشت, Rašt ; glk, Rəšt, script=Latn; also romanized as Resht and Rast, and often spelt ''Recht'' in French and older German manuscripts) is the capital city of Gilan Province, Iran. The Persian Gulf Pro League ( fa, لیگ برتر خلیج فارس, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Pro League ( fa, links=no, لیگ برتر ایران, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is the highest division of professional football in Iran. It is the top-level football league in Iran since its foundation. Each year, its top team becomes the Iranian football champion, and the two lowest finishers are relegated to Azadegan League. The 2010–11 Azadegan League was the 20th season of the Azadegan League and tenth as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season featured 19 teams from the 2009–10 Azadegan League, three new teams relegated from the 2009–10 Persian Gulf Cup: Moghavemat Shiraz, Aboumoslem and Esteghlal Ahvaz and four new teams promoted from the 2009–10 2nd Division: Sepidrood as champions, Naft Masjed Soleyman, Shahrdari Yasouj and Foolad Yazd. Foolad Natanz replaced Sepahan Novin, Machine Sazi replaced Petroshimi Tabriz and Sanat Sari replaced Mehrkam Pars. Shensa Arak changed their name into Hamyari Arak. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in Oceania Football Confederation, OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League.
