The Popular Movement ( ar, الحركة الشعبية; zgh, ⴰⵍⵃⴰⵔⴰⴽⴰ ⴰⵛⵛⴰⵄⴱⵉⵢⴰ; french: Mouvement populaire) is a royalist and traditionalist rural-focused political party in Morocco. Abdeslam Ahizoune (born 20 April 1955 in Tiflet, Morocco) is the chairman of the Management Board of Maroc Telecom and the former chief executive officer, the main Moroccan telecommunications company. Education Ahizoune was born on 20 April 1955 in Tiflet, located about 60 km from Rabat, to a landowning Berber family. His father Aïssa Ahizoune was a notable of the Khessasna tribe. Abdelilah Benkirane ( ar, عبد الإله بنكيران, born 2 April 1954) is a Moroccan politician who was Prime Minister of Morocco from November 2011 to March 2017. After having won a plurality of seats in the 2011 parliamentary election, his party, the moderate Islamist Justice and Development Party formed a coalition with three parties that had been part of previous governments. Mohammed Karim Lamrani ( ar, محمد كريم العمراني; 1 May 1919 – 20 September 2018) was a Moroccan politician who was the Prime Minister of Morocco for three separate terms. He served his first term for one year which started in 1971 and ended in 1972, then from November 1983 to September 1986, and finally from August 1992 to May 1994. Early life Lamrani was born in Fes on 1 May 1919. Career Lamrani served as a prime minister three times: from 6 August 1971 to 2 November 1972, then from 30 November 1983 and 30 September 1986 and lastly from 11 August 1992 to 25 May 1994.
