Mohammed Al-Ghassani
Mohammed Saleh Abdullah Al-Ghassani ( ar, محمد صالح عبدالله الغساني; born 1 April 1985), commonly known as Mohammed Al-Ghassani, is an Omani footballer who plays for the Oman Professional League club, Sur. Club career On 31 August 2014, he signed a one-year contract with Al-Shabab Club. Later on, he returned to two of his formers clubs, Al-Musannah and Saham. Al Suwaiq ( ar, السويق) is a coastal wilayah (province) in the region of Al Bāţinah, in northeastern Oman. It is located at around . AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) section of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification saw 43 teams competing for 4 or 5 berths in the final tournament in Brazil. As in recent tournaments the AFC had four direct qualifiers for the finals tournament in addition to a further possible place via the intercontinental play-offs against CONMEBOL's fifth-placed team, which was chosen through a random draw, rather than being decided by FIFA beforehand as in previous tournaments (e.g., 2010 against a team from OFC, 2006 against a team from CONCACAF). The 2013–14 Oman Professional League (known as the ''Omantel Professional League'' for sponsorship reasons) is the 38th edition of the top football league in Oman. The Oman Football League got the seal of approval of a professional league on 1 September 2013 and will henceforth be called the Omantel Professional League (OPL). The 2012–13 Oman Elite League (known as the '' Omantel Elite League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 37th edition of the top football league in Oman. It began on 4 October 2012 and was scheduled to finish on 19 May 2013, but for the second season running, the league title had to be decided by a playoff. Fanja SC were the defending champions, having won the previous 2011–12 Elite League season. On Wednesday, 22 May 2013, Al-Suwaiq Club won the Championship Final match against Fanja 3–1 and emerged as the champions of the 2012–13 Oman Elite League.
