Mohammad Sajid Dhot (born 10 December 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for I-League club Sreenidi Deccan. Career Early career Born in Punjab, Dhot started his footballing career at the St. Stephen's Football Academy Chandigarh, under the coaching of Harjinder Singh. Dhot eventually, along with the rest of the India under-17 side, moved to the United States to train at the IMG Academy for a year. While in the US, Dhot played in tournaments such as the IMG Cup and the Dallas Cup. After returning to India, Dhot joined the AIFF Elite Academy and played for the side in the I-League U19. The 2019–20 Indian Super League season was the sixth season of the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. The regular season began on 20 October 2019 and concluded on 14 March 2020. Hyderabad replaced the disbanded Pune City, whereas Delhi Dynamos moved to Bhubaneswar and rebranded as Odisha. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. The Federation Cup (also known as Hero Federation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was an annual knockout football competition in Indian football which started in 1977. From its inception, until I-League was started in 1997 (then called NFL), it was the most prestigious national level club football tournament in India. The 2016–17 I-League was the 10th season of the I-League, the top Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 7 January 2017 and concluded on 30 April 2017. Aizawl won their first title on the final day after securing a draw against Shillong Lajong on 30 April 2017.
