Mohammad Lutfur Rahman (1889-1936), a Bengali author, was born in Magura District. Life Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, was a teacher and afterwards went to Kolkata and established a helping house for women named, ‘Naritirtha’. He published a magazine named ''Narishakti''. Later, Mohammad Lutfur Rahman became a homeopathic doctor. Bengali People
Bengalis (singular Bengali bn, বাঙ্গালী/বাঙালি ), also rendered as Bangalee or the Bengali people, are an Indo-Aryan ethnolinguistic group originating from and culturally affiliated with the Bengal region of South Asia. Magura ( bn, মাগুরা) is a district in south-western Bangladesh, situated 176 kilometers from Dhaka. It is a part of Khulna Division.
