Mohammad Hassan Zolfaghari
Mohammad Hassan Zolfaghari (well known as Amoo Hassan) was an Iran national basketball team, Iranian professional basketball player (1967–1971) and Iran's Head coach (1981). He played as the forward position. Zolfagari was also the head coach of Faravahar (Zoroastrian Team of Iran, 1974–1994) as well as "Shahin of Tehran" (1972–1979). Death In September 2013, he died after a long illness. Iran National Basketball Team
The Iranian national basketball team is controlled by the IR Iran Basketball Federation. Overall, the team won three out of the last five FIBA Asia Championship tournaments. History The Iranian national team has had limited success on the international stage, with the most international experience being that of their 1948 Summer Olympics qualification, although they did not manage to make it past the group stage. Faravahar
The Faravahar ( fa, فروهر), also known as the Foruhar () or the Farre Kiyâni ( fa, فر کیانی, label=none), is one of the best-known symbols of Zoroastrianism, an Iranian religion. There are various interpretations of what the Faravahar symbolizes, and there is no concrete universal consensus on its meaning. However, it is commonly believed that the Faravahar serves as a Zoroastrian depiction of the ''fravashi'', or personal spirit. The Faravahar is one of the best-known and most used pre-Islamic symbols of Iran and is often worn as a pendant. A year or annus is the orbital period of a planetary body, for example, the Earth, moving in its orbit around the Sun.
