Mohammad Farooq (cricketer)
Mohammad Farooq (born 8 April 1938) is a former Pakistani international cricketer who played in seven Test cricket, Test matches between 1960 and 1965. Cricket career Mohammad Farooq was one of Pakistan's fastest bowlers in the 1960s, but his career was short. He made his name in 1959-60, his first season of first-class cricket. In his third first-class match, he took 6 wickets for the cost of 87 runs (6/87) and 5/98 to bowl Karachi cricket teams, Karachi to victory in the final of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He was selected to tour India with Pakistani cricket team in India in 1960–61, the Pakistan team in 1960/61 and played in the first Test, taking the first three Indian wickets and finishing with 4/139 from 46 overs. Pakistan, however, replaced him with a batsman for the second Test, and he did not return to the team until the fifth Test, when he took two wickets. Mohammad Farooq Chishti was a politician from India. He was a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the First Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. In 1952, Mohammad Farooq Chishti participated in the election on behalf of the Indian National Congress from the Deoria (North East) Legislative Assembly constituency of Deoria District of Uttar Pradesh. Farooq served as a MLA for four terms. Early life Mohammad Farooq Chishti was born as the youngest son of Barrister Maulvi Muhammad Ismail Chishti. Ismail was born in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh in a Zamindar family, he graduated in Law from Cambridge University and served as attorney general of the state of Hyderabad. Muhammad Farooq Khan
Muhammad Farooq Khan was a Pakistani psychiatrist, scholar of Islam and vice-chancellor of University of Swat. He was known for his opposition to Islamist militancy and described suicide attacks as un-Islamic. Due to his views, he was assassinated on October 2, 2010. He got his basic education from district Swabi. He then joined Cadet College, Hasanabdal and later on Cadet College, Kohat. After having studied medicine, he decided to specialize in psychiatry. He established his private practice in Baghdada, Mardan. The Government of Pakistan had appointed him as the first Vice-Chancellor of Swat Islamic University some time before his death. Mohammad Farooq Shah
Mohammad Farooq Shah commonly known as Mirwaiz Moluvi Mohammad Farooq was the Mirwaiz of his time in Kashmir and chairman of the All Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee, a coalition of disparate political parties in Jammu and Kashmir that sought resolution of the Kashmir conflict. He was a friend of Prem Nath Bazaz. Shah was assassinated on 21 May 1990 by gunmen at his residence at Nageen, Srinagar.
