Mohamed Tawfik Naseem Pasha
Mohamed Tawfik Naseem Pasha (June 30, 1871 – March 8, 1938) ( ar, محمد توفيق نسيم باشا) was an Egyptian political figure of Turkish origin. He served as the prime minister of Egypt between May 1920 and 1921, again from 1922 until 1923, and finally between 1934 and 1936. He was also Minister of the Interior under Yusuf Wahba Pasha from November 1919 to May 1920. He was Minister of Finance in 1924. He went to lawschool where he met other notable Egyptians such as the intellectual and activist Ahmed Lutfi el-Sayed, Isma'il Sedky, and the journalist Mustafa Kamil. He was appointed Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George (GCMG) by King George V of the United Kingdom in December 1920. Yusuf Wahba Pasha
Youssef Wahba Pasha (1852-1934) (, ) was an Egyptian Prime Minister and jurist. Biography Youssef Wahba was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1852 of a prominent Coptic family. His father, Wahba Bey had been a founder of the first Coptic charitable society that included Muslim scholars such as Abdallah Nadim and Sheikh Muhammed Abduh. He translated the Code Napoleon into Arabic while at the Ministry of Justice between 1875 and 1882 and participated in setting the modern judicial system in Egypt. He became one of the first Egyptian judges in the Mixed Court of Appeals in 1894. He became minister of foreign affairs in 1912. Next year he joined the freemason lodge of Egypt. Abdel Fattah Yahya Pasha (1876–1951) ( ar, يحيى إبراهيم باشا) was an Egyptian political figure. He served as Prime Minister of Egypt from 1933 to 1934. He was Justice Minister in 1921 and 1930, and from 1930 to 1934 was Minister for Foreign Affairs. Abbas Helmy I of Egypt (also known as ''Abbas Pasha'', ar, عباس الأول, tr, I. Abbas Hilmi Paşa 1 July 181213 July 1854) was the Wāli of Egypt and Sudan. Isma'il Pasha ( ar, إسماعيل باشا ; 12 January 1830 – 2 March 1895), was the Khedive of Egypt and conqueror of Sudan from 1863 to 1879, when he was removed at the behest of Great Britain. Mustafa Kamil Pasha ( ar, مصطفى كامل, ) (August 14, 1874 - February 10, 1908) was an Egyptian lawyer, journalist, and nationalist activist. Early life and education Kamil was born in Cairo in 1874. His father was an engineer who first worked for the Egyptian army and then for the civil institutions. He was a graduate of the Khidiwiyya high school in Cairo.
