Mohamed Abu Arisha (محمد ابو عريشة; born November 10, 1997) is a Palestinian citizen of Israel basketball player that ha s played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva B.C., Hapoel Be'er Sheva of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, and has played for the Israeli national basketball team. Currently, he plays for Moroccan basketball team AMI Basket. He plays the forward position. Biography Abu Arisha was born in Hadera, Israel, and is an Arab-Israeli. His hometown is Fureidis, Fureidis Village, Israel. His parents are Dalia and Khader. He is 6' 7" (201 cm) tall, and weighs 200 pounds (91 kg). He attended high school in Hod HaSharon, Israel, and played club ball with Wingate Institute, Wingate Basketball Academy in Israel. Forward (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Over time, as more specialized roles developed, each of the guards and forwards came to be differentiated, and today each of the five positions are known by unique names, each of which has also been assigned a number: point guard (PG) or 1, the shooting guard (SG) or 2, the small forward (SF) or 3, the power forward (PF) or 4, and the center (C) or 5. Wingate Institute
Wingate Institute ( he, מכון וינגייט), officially Orde Wingate Institute for Physical Education and Sports ( he, המכון לחינוך גופני ולספורט ע"ש אורד וינגייט), is a sports training institute located south of Netanya, Israel. History Wingate Institute was established in 1957. It was named after Orde Wingate. It serves as the host facility for several Israeli national sports teams and as a base for IDF fitness training. Among its numerous athletic fields is the Rugby union, rugby pitch that serves as the home pitch of the Israel national rugby union team.
