Mohamad Ali bin Mohamad ( Jawi: محمد علي بن محمد) is a Malaysian politician. He is the Deputy President of the Dewan Negara since 16 December 2020 and Member of Dewan Negara since 20 May 2020. He is also a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a party which is aligned with the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition and component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. The Malacca State Legislative Assembly ( ms, Dewan Undangan Negeri Melaka) is the unicameral legislature of the Malaysian state of Malacca. It is composed of 28 members who are elected from single-member constituencies throughout the state. An independent or non-partisan politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or bureaucratic association. The People's Justice Party ( ms, Parti Keadilan Rakyat , often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR) is a reformist political party in Malaysia, formed in 2003 by a merger of the National Justice Party and the older Malaysian People's Party. Malaysian United Indigenous Party
The Malaysian United Indigenous Party ( ms, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia), abbreviated BERSATU or PPBM, is a nationalist political party in Malaysia. The party was preceded by the United Indigenous Association of Malaysia (). It is a major component party within the Perikatan Nasional coalition and the Barisan Nasional coalition, after the collapse of the Pakatan-led government.
