Modibo Diakité (born 2 March 1987) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Italian Serie D club Roma City. Club career Pescara Born in Bourg-la-Reine, Diakité moved to Italy at early age, and joined Sampdoria's youth setup. In 2004, he moved to Pescara, being initially assigned to the ''Primavera'' team. Diakité made his first-team debut on 28 May 2006, in a 0–0 away draw against Mantova for the Serie B championship. Despite only playing one match for the first team, the 19-year-old Pescara youth product was recognized by giants Lazio, who signed him at the end of the 2005–06 season in co-ownership deal for €250,000. Guglielmo Stendardo (born 6 May 1981) is an Italian football coach and former player, who played as a central defender. He is currently in charge as head coach of Eccellenza amateurs LUISS. Club career Early career Stendardo began his career at Napoli in 1997 and has played for a number of top Italian football clubs, including Sampdoria, Lazio, and Juventus, as well as early spells with Salernitana and Perugia; during his time with the latter club, he was sent on loan to Catania for the 2003–04 season. Gus Poyet
Gustavo Augusto Poyet Domínguez (; born 15 November 1967) is a Uruguayan professional football manager and former footballer. He is currently the head coach of the Greece national football team. Poyet played as a midfielder and began his career with short spells at Grenoble and River Plate. He then spent seven years at Real Zaragoza, with whom he won the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. In 1997, Poyet moved to Chelsea on a free transfer and helped the club win the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Paolo Di Canio (born 9 July 1968) is an Italian former professional footballer and manager. During his playing career he made over 500 league appearances and scored over one hundred goals as a forward. The 2011–12 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM after its headline sponsors) was the 110th season of top-tier Italian football, the 80th in a round-robin tournament, and the second since its organization under a league committee separate from Serie B. It began on 3 September 2011 and ended on 13 May 2012. The league was originally scheduled to start on 27 August, but this was delayed due to a strike by the players. The ("Italy Cup") is an annual knockout cup competition in Italian football organized by the FIGC until the 2009–10 season and the Lega Serie A ever since. History The beginning of the tournament was turbulent, due to the complexity of the participation of the teams in the tournament, since its inception in 1921, the Italian championship was divided into two groups. On the one hand the CCI Championship (Italian Football Confederation) and on the other the FIGC championship ( Italian Football Federation).
