''Modalasala'' ( kn, ಮೊದಲಾಸಲ) is a 2010 Indian Kannada romantic drama film written and directed by Purushottham C. Somanathapura in his debut, produced by Yogesh Narayan and Mallikarjun Sankangoudar Gadag and stars Yash and Bhama in the lead roles. Rangayana Raghu, Tara, Avinash and Sharan feature in supporting roles. Plot The film is about two youngsters, both of whom are quite the ideal children. Imagine a girl who makes a guy wait hoping to get her parents to approve his proposal; or a guy who says, "I’ve met the girl's parents, I see them in her eyes". These are the things most typical families dream of, as they plan their kids’ futures. The film has its funny moments and occasionally an overdose of sentimental scenes. The director has done a fairly decent job with the narrative and Yash impresses in his role as the lovelorn urban lad. Yash (actor)
Naveen Kumar Gowda (born 8 January 1986), better known by his stage name Yash, is an Indian actor who works in Kannada films. He is the recipient of three Filmfare Awards South. Yash began his career with appearances in several television series in the 2000s. He made his film debut in 2007 with ''Jambada Hudugi''. Rangayana Raghu
Kotturu Chikkarangappa Raghunath (born 17 April 1965), known by his screen name Rangayana Raghu, is an Indian film and stage actor, known for his work in Kannada cinema. Portraying mostly comic and negative-shaded characters, he has appeared in over 250 films. Prior to acting in films, he worked as a stage actor with B. V. Karanth's theatre group Rangayana, from 1988 to 1999. He made his debut in films in 1995 with ''Suggi'', which got shelved. Raghu got his major break in films after appearing as an antagonist in ''Dhumm'' (2002). Sunitha is an Indian playback singer and voice actor who primarily works in Telugu films. She is a recipient of nine Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South in various categories. Rekhitha R. Kurup, better known by her stage name Bhamaa, is a former Indian actress who mainly appeared in Malayalam and Kannada-language films. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs. Early life Ranjith was born in Chennai, India into a Malayali family, hailing from Kalluvazhi, Kerala. He grew up listening to various kinds of music. He used to stay in a locality where there were many Keralites, and had a chance to participate in the local programs there. Later, a family friend suggested that he be trained in classical music.
