Mobile Suit Gundam AGE
is a 2011 Japanese science fiction anime television series and the twelfth installment in Sunrise (company), Sunrise's long-running ''Gundam'' franchise. The series was first announced in the July issue of Shogakukan's ''CoroCoro Comic'', and has gaming company Level-5 (video game company), Level-5's President Akihiro Hino in charge of the story. This installment of the Gundam meta-series is set on a futuristic Earth plagued by an interplanetary war that spans a whole century. Its story revolves around three protagonists from the same family, each piloting his own version of the eponymous mecha, fighting to defend Earth and its space colonies from an enemy race far more advanced in terms of technology. In science fiction, or mechs are giant robots or machines controlled by people, typically depicted as humanoid walking vehicles. CoroCoro Comic
is a Japanese monthly manga magazine published by Shogakukan, established on May 15, 1977. Its main target is elementary school-aged boys, younger than the readers of shōnen manga. Several of its properties, like ''Doraemon'' and the '' Pokémon'' series of games, have gone on to be cultural phenomena in Japan. The name comes from a phenomime which means "rolling" and also represents something spherical, fat, or small, because children supposedly like such things. ''Sgt. Frog'', known in Japan as , is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mine Yoshizaki. It was launched in ''Monthly Shōnen Ace'' in April 1999. The story follows the attempts of a platoon of frog-like alien invaders to conquer Earth. Sergeant Keroro, the titular character, is the leader of the platoon, but is at the mercy of a human family of three after being captured by them. Keroro is forced to do meaningless chores and errands for the family after his army abandons his platoon on Earth. The series was later adapted into an anime television series by Sunrise, which ran for 358 episodes from April 2004 to April 2011. Susumu Yamaguchi
(27 January 1895 - 21 October 1976) was a Japanese scholar of Buddhism, and former president of Otani University. He was born in Kyoto.
