Mo-Do
Fabio Frittelli (24 July 1966 – 6 February 2013), better known by his pseudonym Mo-Do, was an Italian musician. Mo-Do appeared in the 1990s as an Italian electronic music act. Although Mo-Do was Italian, his songs were in German. History Origin of the name The name ''Mo-Do'' is claimed to originate from first letters of Frittelli's birth town (Monfalcone) and the day of his birth (''Domenica'', i.e. "Sunday" in Italian), respectively. Career Mo-Do was formed when Frittelli met producer Claudio Zennaro. Other producers who worked with Frittelli (sometimes quoted as members of the group) were Fulvio Zafret, Mario Pinosa and Sergio Portaluri. "Super Gut" is a 1994 single recorded by Italian dance act Mo-Do. It was released as the second single from their 1995 album, ''Was Ist Das?''. The song reached number 1 in Finland and was a notable hit in many European countries like Austria, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland. "Eins, Zwei, Polizei" (English: One, Two, Police) is a 1994 song recorded by Italian dance musician Mo-Do (a.k.a. Fabio Frittelli) and was released as the debut single from his first and only album, ''Was Ist Das?'' (1995). The song got its inspiration from " Der Kommissar" by Austrian singer Falco and "Da Da Da" by German band Trio, both released in the early 1980s. It was co-produced by Claudio Zennaro and Fulvio Zafret, and achieved great success in many European countries. "Eins, Zwei, Polizei" reached number-one in Austria, Germany and Italy. It has since been remixed and re-released several times. In 1995, it was remixed by DJ XTC of Chile. In 2000, it was re-released in a remix by Maurizio Ferrara, in 2008 with remixes by German DJ Blutonium Boy and Floorfilla, and in 2019 the song was reworked by Dutch-Turkish DJ Ummet Ozcan. The Dancing Ferret entertainment group is an unofficial collective name for Dancing Ferret Discs and Dancing Ferret Concerts. It was started by Patrick Rodgers (a.k.a. DJ Ferret) in 1995 with the formation of Dancing Ferret Concerts. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting.
