''Mix-up'' is Triple J's long-running Saturday night dance music show, hosted by Kailyn Crabbe since 2023. Resident DJs Since February 2008 the first hour has had a monthly resident DJ, followed by guests performing hour-long mixes. Triple J
Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian Radio in Australia, radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. The station also places a greater emphasis on broadcasting music of Australia, Australian content compared to commercial stations. Triple J is a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. History 1970s: Launch and early years 2JJ commenced broadcasting at 11:00 am, Sunday 19 January 1975, at 1540 Hertz, kHz (which switched to 1539Hertz, kHz in 1978) on the AM radio, AM band. The new Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) station was given the official call-sign 2JJ, but soon became commonly known as Double J. The station was restricted largely to the greater Sydney region, and its local reception was hampered by inadequate transmitter facilities. Nicole Foote
Nicole Foote is a former Australian radio presenter. She hosted the hip hop show on Triple J and hosted Triple J's dance music shows Mix Up (radio show) and ''The Club'' until 2010. Nina Las Vegas
Nina Elizabeth Agzarian (born 18 December 1984), known professionally by her stage name Nina Las Vegas, is an Australian radio host, DJ and music producer. From 2009 to 2014 she was the host of ''House Party'' on national radio station Triple J. She released compilation albums, ''House Party Volume 1'' (3 August 2012) and ''House Party Volume 2'' (2 August 2013), which appeared on the ARIA Charts. In 2015 she started her own music recording label "NLV Records". Las Vegas is also signed to the label. Sharif Galal
Sharif Galal (born Alexandria, Egypt) is a DJ and radio announcer best known for his work at Triple J in Australia. Born in Egypt, he grew up in a British boarding school. He first started as a DJ in Alexandria in 1985. A year later, he was working for Radio Cairo, broadcasting a show co-mingling Middle Eastern and English new wave pop music. He moved rather quickly after this, moving to work as a DJ - firstly in the UK in 1987, and the following year to Melbourne, in his new home country, Australia. He studied at Melbourne University and in 1989 he returned to radio, working at Melbourne's 3RRR. In 1993 he moved to Sydney where he formed his own nightclub "Sub Club" at Kinselas.
