Akihiro Miwa
(born May 15, 1935), better known by his stage name , is a Japanese singer, actor, director, composer, author and drag queen. Career Miwa began his career aged 17 as a professional cabaret singer in the Ginza district in Chūō, Tokyo, after having moved to the city in 1952. He began working in various nightclubs singing his favourites from the French chansons, such as those of Édith Piaf, Yvette Guilbert and Marie Dubas. Miwa became well known in 1957 after his smash-hit "Me Que Me Que", which included a string of profanities not used in media at the time. He also became renowned for his effeminate beauty, making him a hit with the media, and performed a monthly show at Shibuya Jean-Jean called (''"The World of Akihiro Miwa"'') from the 1970s until its closure in 2000, as well as touring Japan. Tetsuji Miwa (三輪 哲二, ''Miwa Tetsuji''; born 10 February 1949 in Tokyo) is a Japanese mathematician, specializing in mathematical physics. Miwa received his undergraduate degree in 1971 and his master's degree in 1973 from the University of Tokyo. He studied microlocal analysis and hyperfunctions in the early 1970s under the influence of Mikio Satō and Masaki Kashiwara. In 1973 Miwa moved to RIMS (Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences) at Kyoto University and joined the mathematicians of the Satō school. He received his PhD in 1981 from Kyoto University. There he was a research assistant from 1973 to 1984, an associate professor from 1984 to 1993, and a full professor from 1993, retiring as professor emeritus in 2013. He held a joint appointment as a professor at RIMS. Shigeyoshi Miwa
, was an admiral in the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. He commanded the Japanese submarine forces during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Biography Miwa was a native of Aichi prefecture, and graduated 59th out of 148 cadets in the 39th class of the Imperial Japanese Navy Academy in 1911. He served his midshipman duty on the training ship ''Aso'' and battleship ''Mikasa'', and as a sub-lieutenant on the protected cruiser ''Chikuma'', coastal defense ship ''Iwami'' and armored cruiser ''Azuma''. In 1917, he attended the Navy Staff College, where he specialized in navigation, torpedo warfare and submarines, transferring to the submarine warfare section as a lieutenant in 1918. Miwa (stylised as miwa) (born 15 June 1990) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She debuted in 2010 with the single " Don't Cry Anymore", which was used as the theme song for the drama ''Nakanai to Kimeta hi''. Her stage name officially starts with a lowercase letter 'm'. Biography History miwa was born in Hayama, Kanagawa, moving to Tokyo at a young age. Since her father had a great love for music, miwa naturally began to enjoy music as she grew up. miwa began writing songs at 15. She began to teach herself how to play the guitar after she entered high school, but gave up and paid for professional lessons after discovering she wasn't making much progress on her own. Her high school had a ban on students having part-time jobs. Asumi Miwa
is a Japanese actress from Yokohama, Japan. She is the younger sister of actress Hitomi Miwa. Biography Asumi Miwa was born as the second of three daughters in Yokohama, Kanagawa. She became interested in acting while in junior high school, when her older sister Hitomi started working as an extra on TV shows. She began taking acting lessons at an acting school and in 1996 starred in a commercial for the Urban Renaissance Agency. ''MPD Psycho'', short for , is a manga series written by Eiji Ōtsuka and illustrated by Shou Tajima, published by Kadokawa Shoten from 1997 to 2016.
