Mitchell Kaplan
Mitchell Kaplan is an American musician, music director, songwriter, arranger and producer. He is best known as the Music Director for Sandra Bernhard and for alternative comedy company Un-cabaret. He has been featured as musical director in performances with Ana Gasteyer and Cady Huffman. Career Kaplan began his career as a pianist and songwriter, writing songs for artists including Chaka Khan, Thelma Houston, Sister Sledge and Martika. Kaplan has been the musical director for Sandra Bernhard since 1985. He collaborated with Sofia Shinas on her self-titled 1992 Warner Bros album release as composer, mixer, and producer. He produced and co-wrote One Last Kiss. Kaplan appeared in TV shows including Will & Grace, Roseanne, and The Tonight Show. ''The Brandon Sun'' is a Monday through Saturday newspaper printed in Brandon, Manitoba. It is the primary newspaper of record for western Manitoba and includes substantial political, crime, business and sports news. ''The Brandon Sun'' also publishes a weekly Westman This Week edition featuring local columns and events listings that is distributed free to the entire city. Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, originally built as the California Petroleum Corporation Building and later known as the Texaco Building, is a , 13-story highrise hotel and theater building located at 937 South Broadway in downtown Los Angeles, California. It was the tallest building in the city for one year after its completion in 1927, and was the tallest privately owned structure in Los Angeles until 1956. History It was released at the height of her career and is a live performance recording that was issued on double-cassette, compact disc and double-vinyl in 1989; it was later re-released on double-compact disc and made available for sale on Bernhard's own website. ''Excuses for Bad Behavior'' is a two-part album series by Sandra Bernhard. The first album was released in 1994 while the second was released in 2004. Part one ''Excuses for Bad Behavior (Part One)'' is a combination of spoken comedy bits, comedic songs, and pop/rock music. Co-written and co-produced by Bernhard's longtime collaborator Mitch Kaplan, the album features Bernhard singing originals and standards.
