Mitchell Ronald Edwin Brown (born 7 November 1987) is a former Australian professional footballer who played for the Warrington Wolves in the Super League. He previously played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, the Leigh Centurions and the Wests Tigers. Has many a nickname. Background Brown was born in Sutherland, New South Wales, Australia. Playing career Brown began playing junior rugby league for his local club side the Gymea Gorillas. He went to school at Endeavour Sports High School in the Sutherland Shire, working his way up through the age groups and representing the school at fullback in their back to back Arrive Alive Cup tournament wins. Mitchell Brown (born 15 August 1993) is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays as a lock or loose forward for in New Zealand's domestic Mitre 10 Cup and the in the international Super Rugby competition. Early career Born and raised in New Plymouth on New Zealand's North Island, he attended New Plymouth Boys' High School in his hometown where he played first XV rugby. After leaving school, he started playing for Ingelwood in Taranaki's club rugby competition. Mitchell "Mitch" Brown (born 17 December 1988) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from Ballarat, Victoria, he played under-18 football for the North Ballarat Rebels in the TAC Cup before being recruited by West Coast with the 16th pick overall in the 2006 National Draft. He made his debut for West Coast in round one of the 2007 season, and played a total of 94 games for the club, alternating between defence and the forward line. Brown's career has been interrupted by injuries, causing him to miss the entire 2008 season and 2015 season, as well as significant parts of the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Mitchell Brown (born 28 August 1990) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for , , and in the Australian Football League (AFL). Career Geelong (2009-2014) Brown was selected by Geelong with their first round selection (15th overall) in the 2008 AFL draft, after originally not being considered by most as a top-20 selection. He had previously been playing with the Cheltenham Panthers and the Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup. He was originally not selected by the Dragons until he had a growth spurt and performed well for his school, Mentone Grammar School. He has also represented Victoria at cricket at junior levels.
