''Misunderstood'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Yung Bans. The album was released on July 24, 2019 through Foundation Media. The album features guest appearances by YNW Melly, XXXTentacion, Gunna, Young Thug, Future, among others. Background On July 5, 2019, Yung Bans announced the album along with its album art and tracklist. Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson is featured playing guitar on the album. Singles The album's lead single, "Going Wild", was released on July 24, 2019. The music video for the song was released the same day. Vas Coleman (born May 25, 1999), known professionally as Yung Bans, is an American rapper and songwriter. He is best known for his singles including "Ridin'", "Lonely", "Dresser", "Right Through You", and "4TSpoon" featuring Playboi Carti; as well as the ''Yung Bans'' Vol. 1-5 mixtape series. Early life Vas Coleman was born in St. Louis, Missouri, Coleman moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the seventh grade. He attended Langston Hughes High School, as well as Virgil I. Jamaal Talib Henry (born September 26, 1994), known professionally as Maaly Raw, is an American record producer and songwriter. He gained prominence in 2016 as the architect behind some of fellow Philadelphia native Lil Uzi Vert's most popular songs. In 2017, the duo teamed up on four tracks from Uzi's album, ''Luv Is Rage 2''.
