Mister X (band)
Mister X are a Belarusian street punk band formed in Grodno, West Belarus, in 2003 by Igor Bancer and Boris of Oi! Bombers. They openly identify as SHARP and belong to the small, but healthy and growing anti-racist skinhead scene in Belarus. They are well-known on the underground punk scene in Poland, where they have numerous times been referred to as "the most well-known Belarusian punk rock band" and "the flagship of Belarusian street punk", though they frequently tour other parts of Eastern Europe as well (Russia, Latvia, and Lithuania, among other countries) and have played in Western Europe too. Although most of their work is in Russian, they are also known for singing in Polish, Belarusian, and occasionally English – almost all of their digitally released albums are annotated in Russian, Polish, and English. Cock Sparrer () is an English punk rock band formed in 1972 in the East End of London. Although they have never enjoyed commercial success, they helped pave the way for the early '80s punk scene and the Oi! subgenre., Their songs have been covered by many punk, Oi!, and hardcore punk bands. Their style is influenced by pub rock, glam rock and raw 1960s beat music as delivered by bands like the Small Faces and The Who. Their lyrics mostly deal with topics related to the daily lives of working class people. Their name derives from their original name, Cock Sparrow, a Cockney term of familiarity. The Oppressed
The Oppressed are a Welsh Oi! band that formed in 1981 in Cardiff, Wales. Most of the musicians in the band's various lineups have been skinheads. Throughout the band's career, the members (especially vocalist Roddy Moreno) openly expressed opposition to racism and fascism — in their lyrics, interviews, on-stage comments and other actions. In 1989, Moreno visited New York City and met a few members of Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (SHARP). On his return to the United Kingdom, he started promoting SHARP ideals to British skinheads. Oxymoron (band)
Oxymoron was a German punk rock band formed in 1992. The band was founded by Sucker (vocals) and his cousin Björn (drums), along with two friends, Martin (guitar) and Filzlaus (bass). Career Originating from Germany, their first real public performance was at an annual punk rock festival in their hometown, along with other local bands. After the show, they were offered several slots as support acts for more established bands all over the world. In May 1994, they released their debut EP, ''Beware, Poisonous!'' on their own Oxyfactory Records label. The EP was soon reissued by Helen of Oi! Records in October of that year, which led to a full-length album deal. The Analogs
The Analogs are a Polish street punk band. They originated in Szczecin, and are quite successful on the local and international punk rock scene. The band is widely regarded for making street punk music popular in Poland. Although they used to claim to be apolitical, The Analogs have always been completely committed to anti-fascism and eventually have started referring to themselves as "100% leftie". They have performed alongside influential ska artist Roy Ellis and recognise the multi-cultural roots of the skinhead subculture.
