Michael Tuchner
Michael John Tuchner (24 June 1932 – 17 February 2017) was a British film and theatre director. Born in Berlin, to German-Jewish parents, he was seven years old when his family moved to Britain with the rise of the Nazis. He eventually read classics at University College London, where he was president of the film society, and subsequently joined the BBC as a trainee editor on the ''Tonight'' programme. After work on documentaries and commercials, he made his debut as a TV director with ''The Wednesday Play'' in 1969. Feature films followed, and Tuchner's credits included ''Villain'' (1971), '' Fear is the Key'' (1972), ''Mister Quilp'' (1975), the film version of ''The Likely Lads'' (1976), ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame'' (1982), the Disney film ''Trenchcoat'' (1983), '' Wilt'' (1989) and '' Back to the Secret Garden'' (2001). Yvonne Daphne Antrobus (born 1 November 1940) is a British novelist, abridger, radio dramatist, and actress. Writing She has made over 100 abridgments and dramatisations for BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4 and for independent audio publishers, including ''Vernon God Little'' by DBC Pierre, ''The British Journalist'' by Andrew Marr and ''Days From A Different World'' by John Simpson. Mona Washbourne
Mona Lee Washbourne (27 November 1903 – 15 November 1988) was an English actress of stage, film, and television. Her most critically acclaimed role was in the film '' Stevie'' (1978), late in her career, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a BAFTA Award. Early life Mona Washbourne was born in Sparkhill, Birmingham, and began her entertaining career training as a concert pianist. Paul Rogers (actor)
Paul Rogers (22 March 1917 – 6 October 2013) was an English actor of film, stage and television. He was the first winner of the BAFTA TV Award Best Actor in 1955 and won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for ''The Homecoming'' in 1967. Early life and career Paul Rogers was born in Plympton, Devon, and attended Newton Abbot Grammar School. He later trained at the Michael Chekhov Theatre Studio at Dartington Hall. Bryan Pringle
Bryan Pringle (19 January 1935 – 15 May 2002) was an English character actor who appeared for several decades in television, film and theatre productions. Life and career Born in Glascote, Tamworth, Staffordshire, he was brought up in the Lancashire town of Bolton. After boarding at St Bees School, Cumberland, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, winning the 1954 Bancroft Gold Medal and leaving in 1955. Christopher Paul Greener (21 November 1943 – 11 February 2015) was a British actor and basketball player who went on to represent the United Kingdom. Greener was born in New Brighton, Wallasey, Cheshire.
