Otis Harlan
Otis Harlan (December 29, 1865 – January 21, 1940) was an American actor and comedian. He voiced Happy, one of the Seven Dwarfs in the Disney animated film ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs''. Early years Harlan was born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1865. He married Nellie Harvey and had a daughter named Marion. Harlan was the uncle of the silent film era leading man, Kenneth Harlan. Career In 1893, he appeared in Victor Herbert's ''The Magic Knight''. He was playing in vaudeville shows by 1911, appearing in Irving Berlin's ragtime musicals. Harlan also played the role of Cap'n Andy in the first, part-talkie film version of "Show Boat" (1929). He was also seen as the Master of Ceremonies in the sound prologue that accompanied the film. In 1935, Harlan played the role of Starveling in Max Reinhardt's 1935 film version of Shakespeare's ''A Midsummer Night's Dream''. Fred Warren
Frederick Windsor Warren (23 December 1907 – 1986) was a Welsh professional footballer and Wales international. Club career Warren began his career at his home town club Cardiff City, spending time as understudy to George McLachlan before becoming a more regular first team player. In January 1930, he was sold to Division One side Middlesbrough for a fee of £8,000, in a transfer that also involved Joe Hillier and Jack Jennings. After six years with Middlesbrough, Warren joined Heart of Midlothian, where he later became the club's first Welsh international. He remained at Tynecastle until the outbreak of World War II, returning to South Wales to work for Barry Town. International career Warren made his debut for Wales on 2 February 1929, scoring in a 2–1 win over Ireland in the 1929 British Home Championship. Jack Pennick
Ronald Jack Pennick (December 7, 1895 – August 16, 1964) was an American film actor. After working as a gold miner as a young man, serving as a US Marine, he would go on to appear in more than 140 films between 1926 and 1962. Pennick was a leading member to in the informal John Ford Stock Company, appearing in dozens of the director's films. Pennick also drilled the military extras in John Wayne's '' The Alamo'' (1960). Biography Pennick was born in Portland, Oregon, the son of gold miner Albert R. and Bessie (Murray) Pennick. He and his first wife, Grechin, had two children by the time he was twenty. He had a third child with his second wife, Nona Lorraine. Pennick joined the United States Marine Corps serving in China and World War I. In the 1920s he worked as a horse wrangler on various film productions before he was noticed by filmmaker John Ford. He soon began working as an actor, as well as a military technical adviser. Nicholas Benton "Ben" Alexander III (June 27, 1911 – July 5, 1969) was an American motion picture actor, who started out as a child actor in 1916. He is best remembered for his role as Officer Frank Smith in the ''Dragnet'' franchise. Life and career Ben Alexander was born in Goldfield, Nevada, and raised in California. Alexander made his screen debut at age of five in ''Every Pearl a Tear''. He went on to portray Lillian Gish's young brother in D. W. Griffith's ''Hearts of the World''. After a number of silent films, he retired from screen work, but came back for the World War I classic, ''All Quiet on the Western Front'' (1930), in which Alexander received good notices as an adult actor as "Kemmerick", the tragic amputation victim.
