Mister Brau
''Mister Brau'' is a Brazilian musical comedy television series created by Jorge Furtado that originally aired from 22 September 2015 to 12 June 2018, on Rede Globo. The series aired over four seasons with a total of 54 episodes and 3 specials. The series centers on the two leads: Lázaro Ramos and Taís Araújo. Premise The plot revolves around a popular singer, Mr. Brau (Lázaro Ramos) and his wife Michele (Taís Araújo), a businesswoman and his choreographer. Michelle alludes to the fact that, "behind a great man has a great woman". Mister Brau and Michele also value what is priceless: friendship. Jorge Alberto Furtado (born June 9, 1959) is a Brazilian film and television director and screenwriter. Life and career Furtado attended university for courses in medicine, psychology, journalism and arts but didn't graduate. He began his professional career in the 1980s on a local channel called ''TVE-RS'' working as reporter, presenter, editor, screenwriter and producer. In 1982 created a TV show called "Quizumba", that mixed fiction and documentary with very audacious language for the Brazilian public television. Between 1984 and 1986, Furtado was director of the museum "Museu de Comunicação Social Hipólito José da Costa" in Porto Alegre. At the same time, with the help of José Pedro Goulart and Ana Luiza Azevedo, he created the company "Luz Produções", where he made two short films and produced plays for theater. Luís Lázaro Sacramento Ramos (born November 1, 1978) is a prolific Brazilian actor, television presenter, director, writer, and voice actor. He started his acting career with the Flock of Olodum Theater group, in Salvador, and is best known for his portrayal of João Francisco dos Santos in the 2002 film ''Madame Satã''. Taís Bianca Gama de Araújo (; born 25 November 1978) is a Brazilian actress, TV host and model. Fernanda de Freitas Sahdo (born February 25, 1980) is a Brazilian actress. Career Fernanda was a ballet teacher for 14 years.
