Missouri Route 32
Route 32 is a highway in Missouri. Its eastern terminus is at the Mississippi River near Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, Ste. Genevieve; its western terminus is at U.S. Route 54 (Missouri), U.S. Route 54 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, El Dorado Springs. It is currently one of the longest highways in the state. Most of the highway east of Lebanon, MO, Lebanon is hilly and curvy, passing through a large part of the Missouri Ozarks. Route 32 is one of the original Missouri highways from 1922. It originally ran only from Licking, Missouri, Licking to Flat River, Missouri, Flat River (now Park Hills). Other portions were defined as Route 66 (El Dorado Springs to Fair Play, MO, Fair Play), Route 13 (Missouri), Route 13 (Fair Play to Buffalo, MO, Buffalo), and Route 68 (Farmington, MO, Farmington to Ste. Buffalo is a city in and the county seat of Dallas County, Missouri, United States. The population was 3,290 at the 2020 census. Buffalo is part of the Springfield, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Buffalo was platted in 1841, and named after Buffalo, New York, the native home of a first settler. Route 21 (Missouri)
Route 21 is a highway in eastern Missouri. Its northern terminus is at Route 30 in Affton. Its southern terminus is at the Arkansas state line (where it continues as Highway 115). In the St. Louis area, it is known as Tesson Ferry Road, which was named after the 19th century proprietor of the ferry across the Meramec River. The section through northern Jefferson County, Missouri was considered dangerous. As a result, the road was rerouted and built to freeway standards. Construction to reroute the highway to just south of Hillsboro was completed on December 15, 2008 and Route 21 is currently freeway standard from Route 141 to Highway B. Plans to extend the freeway south to DeSoto have been approved, but funds are lacking to complete this part of the project. A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Route 144 (Missouri)
Route 144 is a state route in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri. Its western terminus is at Route 32 near the village of Millers. The route travels southeastward toward Hawn State Park. The road then turns east and ends at Bauer Road and Park Drive, inside the state park. The route was designated in 1972, and has kept the same alignment since. Route description In Ste. Genevieve County of eastern Missouri, Route 144 begins at Route 32 in Millers. The route intersects Miller Switch Road and bends south. It heads south-southeast through rural land, crossing Janca Creek and approaching Hawn State Park. The road then enters into forests as it heads toward the park. Interstate 55 (I-55) in the US state of Missouri runs from the Arkansas state line to the Poplar Street Bridge over the Mississippi River in St. Louis.
