The Mississippi Storm was an American soccer team, based in the Biloxi suburb of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, which competes in National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). The Mississippi Storm withdrew from the NPSL and folded in 2014. History On October 7, 2012, the NPSL accepted the Storm as one of the expansion clubs for their 2012 season. Greyhound Stadium
Greyhound Stadium, built in 2016, is an artificial surface stadium located in Portales, New Mexico. It is home of the NCAA Division II Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds The Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds are the athletic teams that represent Eastern New Mexico University, located in Portales, New Mexico, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. Ocean Springs, Mississippi
Ocean Springs is a city in Jackson County, Mississippi, United States, approximately east of Biloxi and west of Gautier. It is part of the Pascagoula, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 17,225 at the 2000 U.S. Census. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the city of Ocean Springs had a population of 17,442. The town has a reputation as an arts community. The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The NPSL is a semi-professional league, comprising some teams that have paid players and some that are entirely amateur. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. It is the successor of the Men's Premier Soccer League, a regional league originally based in the Western United States, which has now expanded nationwide to encompass teams from 29 states. Biloxi ( ; ) is a city in and one of two county seats of Harrison County, Mississippi, United States (the other being the adjacent city of Gulfport).
