Missionary Sisters Of Christ The King
The Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Christ the King for the Polish Diaspora Abroad (MChr) (Latin: ''Congregatio Sororum Missionariarum Christi Regis pro Polonis Emigrantibus'') - grew out of the spiritual and cultural needs of Polish emigrants. It was founded in 1959 by the Servant of God, Father Ignacy Posadzy, priest of the Society of Christ (exact date of establishment - November 21, 1959; approval under papal rights - November 24, 1996). The vocation of each missionary is boundless love for the cause of God among the Polish diaspora abroad and the desire for self-sacrifice and joyful sacrifice of strength, comfort and life for the good of the Polish diaspora. The sisters live in a community whose inner motto is Paul's exclamation: "May only Christ be proclaimed" (Phil 1:18). At the center of their lives is Christ, reigning from the throne of the cross. Ignacy Posadzy
Ignacy Posadzy Society of Christ Fathers, SChr (February 17, 1898 – January 17, 1984) was a Polish Priesthood in the Catholic Church, Roman Catholic priest who ministered to Polish migrants from the interwar period, through World War II and during the rule of Communist Poland. At the direction of August Cardinal Hlond, Venerable August Cardinal Hlond, he co-founded an order dedicated to serving Polish migrants, the Society of Christ Fathers, Society of Christ. He served as Superior General of the Society from August 22, 1932, to July 5, 1968. In 1958, he founded an order of religious sisters, dedicated to serving Polish migrants, the Missionary Sisters of Christ the King. During World War II, he was appointed spiritual leader of Polish Forced labour under German rule during World War II, slave laborers in Nazi Germany. Morasko
Morasko is a part of the Stare Miasto district of Poznań, in western Poland. It covers a fairly large but little-urbanised area in the north of the city. To the west and north it borders on the village and municipality of Suchy Las, a developing area of suburban housing. To the east of Morasko are the neighbourhoods of Umultowo and Radojewo, and to the south is the densely built residential area of Piątkowo. For governmental purposes, Morasko is part of the ''osiedle'' of Morasko-Radojewo.
