Missing Link (TV Series)
''Missing Link'' was a retrospective sports program that aired on the American network ESPN Classic. It debuted on March 7, 2007 and aired every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. Eastern time and was hosted by the host of ESPN Radio's '' The Herd'', Colin Cowherd. ''Missing Link'' is best described as a version of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon involving famous athletes, coaches, and other sports figures. Each end of the chain is seemingly the exact opposite of the other in some way, but are somehow connected. The length of each chain varies between five and seven names. In a television-worthy twist, one end is connected, then the other, with a middle link revealed only at the end, following a commercial break. Colin Cowherd
Colin Murray Cowherd (born January 6, 1964) is an American sports media personality. Cowherd began his broadcasting career as sports director of Las Vegas television station KVBC and as a sports anchor on several other stations before joining ESPN in 2003, where he hosted a radio show on the ESPN Radio network and also became one of the original hosts of ESPN's television program '' SportsNation'', as well as ''Colin's New Football Show''. Cowherd is currently the host of ''The Herd with Colin Cowherd'' on Fox Sports Radio and Fox Sports 1. After Cowherd made a controversial statement about Dominican Republic baseball players in 2015, he was suspended by ESPN, and joined Fox Sports. The Herd is FS1's top-rated studio program. Leo Ernest Durocher (French spelling Léo Ernest Durocher) (; July 27, 1905 – October 7, 1991), nicknamed "Leo the Lip" and "Lippy", was an American professional baseball player, manager (baseball), manager and coach (baseball), coach. ESPN25 was a special event conducted to mark the 25th anniversary of ESPN. During the run-up to the anniversary date of September 7, 2004, the network counted down the top sports moments of the last 25 years (the "ESPN era"). Each Tuesday, a new 25-to-1 list was unveiled, as was the next headline in that 25-to-1 countdown. In addition, each day during ''SportsCenter'', the next moment in the list of the top 100 moments of the ESPN era was shown. Trevor Berbick
Trevor Berbick (1 August 1954 – 28 October 2006) was a Jamaican professional boxer who competed from 1976 to 2000. He won the WBC heavyweight title in 1986 by defeating Pinklon Thomas, then lost it in his first defense in the same year to Mike Tyson. Berbick was the last boxer to fight Muhammad Ali, defeating him in 1981 by unanimous decision. As an amateur, Berbick won a bronze medal in the heavyweight division at the 1975 Pan American Games.
