Missa Mercuria
Missa Mercuria is a progressive metal project which involved members of the German bands Vanden Plas, Pink Cream 69 and Silent Force. The album released by the project is a rock opera based on an idea and story by Karin Forstner and issued through Lion Music in 2002. The story revolves around the intervention of the Gods - represented by the four elements Fire, Water, Earth and Air - to prevent the destruction of Mankind and on the mission of the Gods' messenger Mercuria back in time. It features lyrics written by D. C. Cooper and music written by Alex Beyrodt ( Sinner, The Sygnet, Silent Force, Voodoo Circle), Günter Werno and Stephan Lill (Vanden Plas) and Alfred Koffler (Pink Cream 69). Stephan Lill
Stephan Lill is a German guitarist best known for his work with the Progressive metal band Vanden Plas. Biography Stephan Lill was born on 30 November 1968 in Eitorf, Germany. His interest in music, and especially in playing guitar, was awakened early with his discovery of AC/DC and their outstanding lead guitarist Angus Young when he was 12. At age 15, Stephan joined the band Vanden Plas. Since then, he has released 11 CDs worldwide with Vanden Plas, and performed in shows and tours in Europe and the US with bands including Dream Theater, Savatage, and Angra. As both guitarist and songwriter, Stephan collaborated in projects with Missa Mercuria and the Consortium Project. A rock opera is a collection of rock music songs with lyrics that relate to a common story. Edenbridge are a symphonic metal band from Austria, led by songwriter Arne "Lanvall" Stockhammer and fronted by soprano singer Sabine Edelsbacher. Established in 1998, the band has so far released ten studio albums. History 1998-2004 Edenbridge was formed in 1998 by guitarist and keyboardist Lanvall, singer Sabine Edelsbacher, and bassist Kurt Bednarsky. The line-up was completed when drummer Roland Navratil joined the band. Edenbridge entered the recording studio in 1999, signing a record deal with Massacre Records the same year. Andy Kuntz
Andy Kuntz (born 20 November 1962) is a German progressive metal singer best known for his work with the band Vanden Plas. He has also participated in a production of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Background Kuntz was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Since age 14, he has been interested in singing and he always wanted to be a "big rock star". When he was a teenager, he was in a garage punk rock band called Rock Zock. He has said his main influences are Kansas, Thin Lizzy, Van Halen, Genesis, Magnum, and Sting. Kuntz is a first cousin of former German national association football player Stefan Kuntz.
