Miss Rio Grande Do Sul
Miss Rio Grande do Sul is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Rio Grande do Sul at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1954 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990, 1993, and 2020. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. Since 2023, Bebeto Azevêdo has been the state director of Miss Rio Grande do Sul. Rio Grande do Sul is the state with the most crowns in the national contest and also the state that produced the first Miss Brazil to win the Miss Universe contest, Iêda Maria Vargas of Porto Alegre. Beauty Pageant
A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Hundreds and thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. Miss Brazil 2023 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2023), officially Miss Universe Brazil 2023 ( pt, Miss Universo Brasil 2023), was the 69th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, held on July 8, 2023 at São Paulo. It is the third under the new Miss Universe Brazil management. Mia Mamede of Espírito Santo crowned Maria Brechane of Rio Grande do Sul as her successor at the end of the event. Miss Brazil 2019 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2019), officially Miss Brazil Be Emotion 2019 ( pt, Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2019), was the 65th edition of the Miss Brazil beauty pageant which held on 9 March 2019 at São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Miss Universe 2020 was the 69th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States on May 16, 2021. Montenegro, Rio Grande Do Sul
Montenegro is a municipality of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. As of 2020, it has 65,721 inhabitants. The town was established in 1847 to be settled primarily by German immigrants from the Hunsrück region of southwest Germany. The local language was Riograndenser Hunsrückisch for most of its history, and it is still spoken there after 150 years of the initial settlement. Miss Brazil 2021 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2021), officially Miss Universe Brazil 2021 ( pt, Miss Universo Brasil 2021), was the 66th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, and the first under the new Miss Universe Brazil management. The competition was filmed on 7 November 2021 on board the ''MSC Preziosa'', and aired on 9 November. In order to preserve the secrecy of the results before its airdate, crowning moments for all three finalists were filmed, while only the one of the winner was aired. Teresa Santos of Ceará was crowned as the winner and successor of Julia Gama of Rio Grande do Sul. Miss Brazil CNB 2021
Miss Brazil CNB 2021 was the 31st edition of the Miss Brazil CNB pageant and the 6th under CNB Miss Brazil. The contest took place on August 19, 2021. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions & Cities competed for the title. Elís Miele Coelho of Espírito Santo crowned her successor, Caroline Teixeira of Distrito Federal at the end of the contest. Teixeira will represent Brazil at Miss World 2021.
