Miss Malta
Miss Malta is a national beauty pageant in Malta which was founded in 1963 by George and Margaret Gatt Mangion of GM Productions. The pageant is also considered as the oldest beauty contest held in the Maltese Islands. During 2014 – 2018, the event was organized by Glamorous Entertainment (Glow Promotions), under the management of Vince Taliana. Since 2019, the pageant has been run under the leadership of Kersten Borg. The reigning Miss Malta is Kim Pelham of St. Julian's who was crowned on 7 November 2021 at the Radisson Blue hotel of Għajn Tuffieħa. Titleholders ;Notes :2. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. Miss World
Miss World is the oldest existing international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Along with Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth, it is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Miss International (''Miss International Beauty'' or ''The International Beauty Pageant'') is a Japan-based international beauty pageant organized by the International Culture Association. Miss Earth 2019
Miss Earth 2019, the 19th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on October 26, 2019, at Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines where Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam was succeeded by Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. This marks the first time Puerto Rico has won Miss Earth, becoming the first territory to win at least once in all of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Miss Earth 2018, the 18th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Goddesses of the Earth", was held on November 3, 2018, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Karen Ibasco of the Philippines crowned her successor Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam at the end of the event. This is the first time Vietnam won the Miss Earth pageant, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
